Digs first ever open mic night!

Friday the 13th of April at the Royal in Colwyn Bay!

Like DIGS doing an open mic night isn’t huge enough, we will have the guys from TAPE TV along filming the evening and The Kaya Festival Team will be choosing some choice artists to play at the festival, giving you the opportunity to share a bill with legends such as Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Tony Allen, Tinchy Stryder and MORE – RIGHT ON YOUR DOORSTEP!

We’re tired of doing all of the hard work and bringing Britain’s best musicians to your doorstep, it’s time YOU showed us what you’re made of.

Bring your Guitar, Ukulele, Sitar, Saxaphone, Didgeridoo, Tsabouna, Bonang or Glass Piano to the Royal in Colwyn Bay and show us how talented you really are!

Usually this space will be filled with a load of spiel, photos and sound bites from the artists plying their trade for your pleasure, but as this month it’s your turn to scream, shout, hum and pick at us until our ears bleed, I thought it would be a great opportunity for you to get yourselves some free promotion and will hopefully save me the bother of actually doing anything!
